2011 SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM

 

Staff Orientation: July 3-9

Session 1: July 10-16 (All ages)

Session 2: July 17-23 (All Ages)

Session 3: July 24-30 (All ages)

Session 4: July 31-August 6 (High School Only)

 

Every summer, hundreds of children and teenagers from throughout the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco gather for our summer camp program. Their Orthodox Christian Faith comes alive for young people as develop life-long friendships and memories that will last forever.

 

Summer camp activities include: arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, campfires, archery, a nature hike, camp olympics, skit night, daily worship services, a visit to the Monastery of the Theotokos the Lifegiving Spring,  and Orthodox life discussions.

 

Our staff include young adults carefully selected and trained to work as camp counselors, along with clergy, seminarians, lifeguards, doctors and nurses.

 

Young people are grouped by age and stay in our comfortable dorms which sleep 12 per room.
